How much do your packages cost?
Every engagement with Mission by Design begins with a Catalyst Enrollment Roadmap, which is priced between $7,500 and $12,500 depending on school size and tuition rate. These sessions can be conducted virtually or in person.
The full investment required to achieve your school’s specific goals is determined during the Catalyst process, where we build a clear picture of your needs, priorities, and opportunities.
We have a revenue problem. How can we afford this?
Great question. Growing school revenue requires doing something differently, and doing something differently often requires an investment: getting in front of new families, refining your messaging, and creating experiences that surprise and delight prospective families.
Every recommendation we make has a clear pathway to a return on investment that results in actual admissions. You are not spending money on pretty websites and videos that no one will see. We take your investment very seriously, and we want to make sure those returns come back to you in enrollments.
How many schools does MXD work with?
Mission by Design works with a select number of schools each year. As a boutique consulting firm, we take great pride in the direct relationships we have with our clients. Our founder and leadership team interact directly with clients on a daily basis, and we understand that we can only serve a certain number of schools well. Our process is intensive, and we intentionally limit the number of schools we take on each year to ensure every client receives the attention and results they deserve.
What about Christian schools?
Absolutely. We love working with Christian and faith-based schools. Our process and our team are built to serve mission-driven institutions, and that very much includes Christian schools of all kinds.
Do you offer guaranteed admissions increases?
No firm can promise guaranteed admissions results in good faith. Many marketing companies will guarantee leads or a certain number of interested families, and we are happy to discuss targets and goals around very specific numbers of families entering your enrollment pipeline. That said, we cannot guarantee bottom-of-the-funnel admissions outcomes, because so much of that depends on your team, your market, and many other factors that are outside the control of marketing. What we can promise is a clear, proven process and a team that is deeply invested in your results.
My ideal project isn't listed above. Can you help?
Perhaps. Over the past five years, we have refined our process to increase enrollment revenue, and the packages we offer are strategically designed to move quickly toward measurable results. There is a chance we may be able to work on a project outside the scope of what is listed above, but we should have a conversation to determine whether we are the right fit!
Will marketing really fix our enrollment problem?
If your challenge is related to marketing, messaging, and clarity, the answer is yes.
Human beings are always searching for clarity and belonging, and we have practiced effective nonprofit marketing for over 20 years to build strong relationships. A clear message and an inspiring storyline turn into real outcomes.
That said, not every aspect of school growth is related to marketing. Leadership volatility, staff turnover, scandal, negative community perceptions, and many other aspects could impact the way families ultimately interact with your admissions office.
Does MXD do fundraising campaigns?
Mission by Design was founded as a nonprofit fundraising firm, and development work remains close to our hearts. For traditional fundraising campaigns that involve outside counsel and ongoing strategic meetings, we typically partner with a trusted firm to ensure your goals are met. On our end, we offer the marketing, storytelling, video production, graphic design, and collateral development that make those campaigns compelling.
